INNOPROM Opens in Riyadh: Over 250 Russian Companies Participate

The International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Saudi Arabia" kicks off at The Arena venue in Riyadh, running from February 8 to 10. The event is held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The exhibition is organized by Formika Event.

The exhibition and business program focus on key sectors: mechanical engineering and components, metallurgy and materials production, industrial automation, digital technologies, smart city solutions, transport technologies, energy technologies, the medical industry, and project investment and financing.

Representing the Russian side, more than 250 companies are taking part in the event, with approximately 140 presenting their technological developments within the exposition. Among the largest participants are Rosatom, Roscosmos, CRPT, National Project Construction (NPS), Rostec, Transneft, Callisto Vision, and Arnest UniRus. Russian regions, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan, Krasnodar Krai, and the Chelyabinsk, Samara, Orenburg, and Belgorod regions, are also showcasing the products and technologies of their exporters. The largest exposition is the "Made in Russia" pavilion organized by the Russian Export Center (REC).

For its part, Saudi Arabia is presenting collective stands under the Invest Saudi and Saudi Made brands, highlighting the Kingdom's investment, industrial, and trade potential. Saudi participants include the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), Saudi EXIM Bank, the National Industrial Development Center (NIDC), and the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (specializing in petrochemical and energy-intensive production), among others.

Throughout the exhibition, an extensive business program will take place. Heads of major industrial companies, federal and regional authorities, financial institutions, and investment agencies will discuss strategic partnerships between Russia and Saudi Arabia in energy, industrial equipment, labeling technologies and FMCG, digital technologies and production automation, maritime digital logistics, new materials, industrial infrastructure, and other pressing industrial topics.

The central event will be the Main Plenary Session: "Russian-Saudi Cooperation: Drivers of Industrial and Investment Development," scheduled for February 9. Key participants include:

• Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation;

• Abdullah Al-Dubaihi, Deputy Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia;

• Bandar Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia;

• Goar Barsegyan, Member of the Board (Minister) for Industry and Agricultural Complex of the EEC;

• Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan;

• Alexey Russkikh, Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region;

• Veronika Nikishina, CEO of the Russian Export Center;

• Alexey Repik, Chairperson of Business Russia.

The session will address the formation of production chains, increasing investment accessibility, and creating infrastructure for joint initiatives. The session will be moderated by INNOPROM Program Director Anton Atrashkin.

The development of cooperation between Russia and Saudi Arabia within the INNOPROM framework is accelerating, involving an increasing number of participants from both sides. In 2023, the multi-sectoral business mission "Made in Russia + INNOPROM" was held in Riyadh with over 100 Russian companies. In 2025, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia served as the Partner Country for the 15th International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM in Russia.
