Sergey Lavrov: Russia Fosters Friendly Relations with All Arab Countries

In an interview with the Arab TV channel Al Arabiya, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, emphasized the high dynamics of Moscow's relations with Middle Eastern states. According to the Russian Foreign Minister, contacts with Riyadh are built at the highest level. The trust-based dialogue between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud allows for the regular exchange of messages and the implementation of large-scale joint projects.

Sergey Lavrov specifically noted that cooperation between the two countries today extends far beyond the framework of OPEC+ and the stabilization of the global oil market. A concrete embodiment of this diversification was the "INNOPROM Saudi Arabia" international industrial exhibition, held in Riyadh from February 8 to 10.

The head of the Foreign Ministry further stated that Russia maintains very close relations with all Arab states and their key organizations, including the League of Arab States and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Moscow currently plans to hold a full-scale "Russia–Arab League" summit.
