Riyadh is preparing to host what is being called the "largest global event in history"—the Future Investment Initiative (FII), which will take place from October 27 to 30 under the theme "The Key to Prosperity." According to Richard Attias, CEO of the FII Foundation, the upcoming session will be the "largest and most impactful" in the initiative's history, bringing together more than twenty heads of state and government, 21 global leaders, approximately 40 ministers, 8,000 participants, and 600 speakers from among the most prominent international figures.
Attias says the initiative has moved beyond the traditional conference and evolved into a global platform uniting leaders from across the world to discuss how to achieve universal prosperity for humanity in the face of accelerated economic, technological, and geopolitical transformations. Due to its growing political and economic clout, Riyadh is becoming a center for global dialogue, bringing together leaders from the United States, China, Russia, and Africa around the same table.
The event's agenda includes more than 250 dialogue sessions spanning a wide range of topics, from the future of global investments and artificial intelligence to sustainable development, innovative finance, healthcare economics, the energy transition, and food security. Special attention will be given to "Investment Day," dedicated to the funding system and venture capital funds, as well as the Asset Management Foundation Forum.
It is expected that more than 40 new agreements and initiatives in the fields of artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and infrastructure will be announced at the session, and that the total value of new contracts will exceed the $60 billion achieved last year.
